It delivers fast and easy access to high quality information in a vast range of subject areas.It provides a single point of access to the full text of the Encyclopedia Britannica plus a range of other titles and databases.

Key Features included:

  • Encyclopædia Britannica – over 75,000 specially written and regularly updated articles by expert contributors. 
  • World Data Analyst Online – an authoritative resource that provides comprehensive statistics on every nation of the world.
  • Gateway to the Classics – short stories, plays, essays, letters and extracts from significant works of world history, literature and philosophy.

NewsLink

What is Newslink?

Newslink is an online newspaper archive database, which offers archived news articles published by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) newspapers publications from as far back as 1989.  

We subscribed to the following newspapers:
  • My Paper
  • The Straits Times
  • The Business Times
  • Berita Harian
  • The New Paper
  • Berita Minggu (Malay)

Newslink resource is updated to Academic pdf package in October 2012. Hence, it is easier to download and save the articles at anytime from anywhere.

Access Limit: Unlimited

Geography in the News

What is Geography in the News?

Geography in the News is on line resources from The Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers), which is the UK's learned society and professional body for geography, founded in 1830.

Our school subscribed to Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)  as School Member.


Description:
Geography in the News provides support for KS3, GCSE, IB and A level students through:

  • Case studies linked to KS3, GCSE, IB and AS/A2.
  • Access to academic research to enhance your subject knowledge.
